Rakuten Cosmetics is a premium online platform offering a curated selection of high-quality skincare and beauty products. Known for its commitment to excellence and luxury, Rakuten Cosmetics combines cutting-edge technology with an exclusive product range to meet diverse skincare needs.
This project is to transform the Rakuten Cosmetics user experience by implementing an editorial-style interface inspired by Rakuten Luxury, creating a visually engaging and intuitive shopping journey.
Introduce a dynamic skin questionnaire to understand users skin type, concerns, and preferences. The responses will help the app curate products based on individual needs, supported by a recommendation algorithm. This algorithm will track each user's journey through the app, analyze responses, and recommend products preferred by other users with similar skin profiles and concerns.
Restructured the overall user flow to streamline navigation, from discovery to purchase, aligning with the luxury feel of Rakuten’s editorial layout. Each step will be designed to build a seamless and personalized shopping experience, including personalized sections like "For Your Skin Type" and "Trending for Similar Profiles."
